FMS GDPR compliance statement
At GBA, we take data protection and privacy very seriously, and we are committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws. Our Fleet Management System (FMS) is designed with GDPR compliance in mind, and we have implemented a range of technical and organisational measures to ensure that personal data is processed lawfully, fairly and transparently.
We collect and process personal data in accordance with the principles of data protection, including the data minimisation principle, which means we only collect and process personal data that is necessary for our business purposes. We ensure that personal data is accurate, kept up-to-date and deleted when no longer needed.
We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, and any other unlawful forms of processing. We have also implemented security controls to prevent unauthorised access to personal data.
We have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who is responsible for overseeing our GDPR compliance programme, and we have established processes and procedures to respond to data subject requests, breaches of personal data, and to ensure that we comply with GDPR requirements.
We only share personal data with trusted third-party service providers who have demonstrated GDPR compliance, and we ensure that they have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data.
We provide GDPR training to our employees and contractors and regularly review and update our GDPR compliance programme to ensure that it remains effective and up-to-date.
If you have any questions or concerns about our GDPR compliance programme or the processing of your personal data in our Fleet Management System, please contact our Data Protection Officer at support@gbagroup.com
